From our 23 acre site on the banks of the River Clyde, Christie & Son operates a large plant capable of processing and exporting up to 10,000 tonnes of ferrous scrap metal every month.

To ensure that we maintain our strong position within this competitive industry, we operate an ongoing programme of investment in heavy plant and machinery to make the recovery process as fast and efficient as possible.
 

For corporate clients, we operate cost-effective Recovery Services to meet their specialised needs. With four cranes on site we can offer the free offload of plant weighing up to 55 tonnes, which is yet another attractive feature of our service.
